Featured Artist - Colin St. Martin



Colin St. Martin received his First Prize (Bachelor of Music) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels, Belgium, under the tutelage of Barthold Kuijken and a Master of Music with Performer's Certificate of the Early Music Institute at Indiana University. Mr. St. Martin performs with most of the major early instrument orchestras and chamber ensembles in North America including Opera Lafayette, the Washington Bach Consort, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Camerata Ama Deus, Amercian Bach Soloists, Pegasus, The Boston Early Music Festival Orchestra, Arcanum, Bach Verspers, among others. Colin has appeared numerous times with the Ama Deus Ensemble and Camerata Ama Deus under the baton of Maestro Valentin Radu and has been featured as a soloist for Vox Ama Deus recordings on various United States recording labels. In addition to his performance activities he is a frequent recording artist as well as professor of early flute at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland, and the Timber Flute Festival in Elkins, West Virginia.
