VoxAmaDeus – COVID-19 Policy Update 11-17-2021
CITY OF PHILADELPHIA VENUES:
Following the City of Philadelphia Health Department requirements, VoxAmaDeus is requiring proof of vaccination for entry to all concerts in Philadelphia, which includes Chestnut Hill. Masks are optional for events where everyone admitted is vaccinated. We are not permitted by City Ordinance to admit persons without proof of vaccination.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE YOUR CDC VACCINATION CARD OR A PHOTO OF IT ON YOUR PHONE TO SHOW AT THE DOOR FOR ENTRY TO PHILADELPHIA VENUES.
SUBURBAN VENUES (outside City of Philadelphia/Chestnut Hill):
VoxAmaDeus provides two separate seating areas to accommodate the different Covid-19 safety considerations for those who are vaccinated and those who are not. For concert attendees who can provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, masks are optional (but not required), and seating is available in the area designated as “masks optional”. For concert attendees who cannot provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, masks are required, and seating is available in the area designated as “masks required”. If you cannot provide proof of vaccination, you will be seated in the “MASKS REQUIRED” SECTION.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE YOUR CDC VACCINATION CARD OR A PHOTO OF IT ON YOUR PHONE TO SHOW AT THE DOOR IF YOU WISH TO SIT IN THE “MASKS OPTIONAL” SECTION AT SUBURBAN VENUES.

From its very first performance in Dublin in 1742, Messiah was a huge sensation. For more than three decades, VoxAmaDeus has presented to the Philadelphia region annual performances of Handel’s masterpiece, now a Christmas season tradition. Remaining true to Handel’s vision, this is the complete work performed on original Baroque instruments. But Maestro Radu makes a few changes each time, so no two performances are ever quite the same. This will be the 2021 edition! This year, make Messiah part of your holiday tradition—and come and be uplifted!
Running time: 2 hours – no intermission
