Vox Ama Deus
The March 2008 issue of Life Style Magazine features an insightful article written by staff writer Daniel Prosen after he had attended the Mozart Xtremes concert at The Kimmel Center and visited us backstage.
"In the twisted, labyrinthine backstage of the Kimmel Center, Valentin Radu,... founder and creative guiding light of Vox Ama Deus, has shocked his ensemble of musicians and vocalists...He is fully dressed and ready to go almost half an hour before the performance begins."

| Dear Vox Fans,
Johann Sebastian Bach's Birthday is upon us. The master is turning 323 and we can't help noticing how alive and relevant his music is today.
Vox Ama Deus welcomes Spring with two Bach celebrations: Birthday Gala, a diverse sampler of Bach's miniature gems, on Palm Sunday, and the grand High Mass in B Minor, on Good Friday.
Visit our Bach's Office today to get your tickets and join us for both programs!

Good Friday, March 21 at 8:00 PM
KIMMEL CENTER - PERELMAN THEATER
Ama Deus Ensemble, Valentin Radu Conductor
"The Mass in B Minor is, for me, one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. It contains some of Bach's greatest choruses and its solos and duets are a parade of musical creativity, with each number accompanied by an obligato for a different instrument. The Mass is an anthology of Bach's best work and Radu turns in a consistently high level performance...
Radu's choice of Good Friday for his annual spring concert says something else about his work. Radu obviously feels pieces like Bach's Mass and Verdi's Requiem - which he conducted on Good Friday last year - have values that transcend their artistic merits."
Tickets: $20-50.
Order tickets directly from our website or by phone: 610.688.2800 (now through 3/14).
Tickets are always available at the Kimmel Center Box Office: in person, 215.893.1999, or online.
