Among the most prolific of Baroque composers, Vivaldi wrote some 500 concertos for one through four instruments. Opening with the Sinfonia in G Major (a sinfonia is a precursor to the operatic overture), our traditional all-Vivaldi program will feature works for violin, oboe, trumpet and viola d’amore, in single and double concertos, and—a first for the Camerata Ama Deus—a concerto for four violins. Augmented by Maestro’s “live notes.”

Running time: 90 minutes – no intermission
